Condition

Canvas has been lined. There are thin webs of stable cracking throughout the composition, notably in the lighter pigments of the background. There are small areas of frame abrasion at the upper left edge, top right, center right, and lower left edges. Under UV light: there is 1-inch vertical stroke of inpainting in the center of the top of the composition, just below the upper edge. There are three small strokes below the upper center and above the lower center of the wreath, and there is a 2-inch diagonal stroke of inpainting in the lower right corner. Otherwise there are a few scattered pindot retouches throughout the canvas. Overall the work is in very good condition.
