The canvas has been lined. There are minor signs of frame abrasion to the most extreme outer edges of the canvas, for example the upper right and left and bottom centers. There are two faint vertical lines visible to the left and right edges of the composition, corresponding to the stretcher beneath. The surface is slightly dirty and may benefit from a professional cleaning. Under UV light: impainting is visible to certain areas of the outer edges of the composition, for example the upper right and upper left corners. Additionally, there are a couple small spots of visible restoration including a 1-inch repair near the lower left of the upper right quadrant and a 1-inch repair near the bottom edge of the upper right quadrant just above the horizon line. The composition is in overall good condition.
