Canvas is not lined. The work's surface is covered with a generous layer of varnish and there appears to be a slight, scarcely visible soft crease in the canvas cross the upper left corner. Under UV light: a thick layer of uneven varnish is difficult to read through, but no inpainting is apparent. Otherwise the work is in excellent condition.
