Condition
Executed on cream wove paper. T-hinged to a mat at the two upper corners on the verso. At the upper right corner and 5 in. above the lower right corner two tears have been reinforced with tape. The sheet is dirty, and there is a faint mat stain of about .75 in. around the perimeter of the sheet. Five artist's pinholes and tiny associated tears run across the top edge of the sheet. There are a number of thin surface scuffs, minor tears, and pindot stains to the sheet, mostly at the extreme perimeter. There are minor losses to the thickest areas of pigment (in the central red sail, for example). There is a large soft crease that runs vertically from the top of the left edge to the bottom of the left edge about 1.5 in. into the sheet. Overall the work is in good condition and its colors remain vibrant and fresh.
