Condition

Oil on lined canvas. There is some light surface dirt and a layer of slightly yellowed varnish, and the canvas is a little buckled on its stretcher. The most extreme outer edges show signs of abrasion, though the composition itself is in no way affected. Under UV light: no signs of inpainting are apparent though the varnish is difficult to read through. Overall the work is in good condition.
