Condition
Canvas has been lined. There are some thin areas of stable cracking near the upper right corner and in some isolated areas of thicker pigment. A few minor pin-dot surface losses occur in the top level of the pigment, revealing other layers of pigment below. For example, a small loss is visible at the center of the top edge, and another appears at an area of thick pigment above the train just below and to the left of the center of the composition. Under UV light: a thick layer of varnish is difficult to see through and no inpainting is apparent. The work is in good condition overall and could benefit from a professional cleaning and a revaluation of its varnish layer.
