Condition
Executed on cream wove paper. Hinged to a mount at the two upper corners on the verso. The left and top edges are slightly deckled and the bottom and right edges appear to have been cut. Remnants of pencil scoring are visible around the extreme perimeter. The extreme outer edges are slightly dirty, and there is some minor surface dirt at the extreme top and left edges. A faint 1 cm mat stain is visible around the perimeter. The sheet is very slightly time-darkened overall. There are some scattered fox marks particularly visible below the upper left corner, as are two small marks in the white area just to the right of the center of the composition. The artist's pinholes are at all four corners, and there is one extremely minor associated loss at the extreme lower right corner. There are two areas of repair near the upper left corner: one 1 cm repair and one slightly larger repair. On the verso, some remnants of what is possibly glue are visible; this is, perhaps, from a previous mounting. Overall the work is in good condition.
