The articulated strap of foliate design decorated with leaves and berries of carved and cabochon rubies, sapphires and emeralds, and brilliant-cut diamond accents, mounted in platinum, length approximately 182mm, signed Cartier Paris and numbered, London Hallmarks, case.
Condition
Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Signed Cartier and numbered HLSO355I on the clasp. Gemstones well matched in colour, with typical crystal inclusions visible with the aid of a 10x lens, minor nicks and abrasion. Diamonds stated to weigh 2.78 carats, ruby beads stated to weigh 36.54 carats, sapphire beads stated to weigh 18.94 carats, emerald beads stated to weigh 14.01 carats, sapphire leaves stated to weigh 46.68 carats, emerald leaves stated to weigh 26.97 carats. Diamonds bright and lively. Clasp secure with safety device. Signs of very little wear to the metal. In very good condition.
