- gold and sapphires
Designed as a graduated row of claw-set oval and cushion-shaped sapphires, mounted in gold, length approximately 360mm.
Condition
Metal tested as yellow gold. The seven largest sapphires estimated to weigh approximately (from left to right), 3.10, 3.00, 4.95, 8.20, 5.00, 2.60, 3.80 carats. The remaining stones graduating from approximately 1.00 to 3.70 carats. Gauged in the mount. A light violetish blue to light blue hue of varying saturations, with typical crystal inclusions, some noticeable to the unaided eye, nicks and abrasion. Secure clasp, safety chain to side. In good condition.
