- 14 karat gold, sapphire, diamond, bags
The first purse set with single-cut diamonds and calibré-cut sapphires, gross weight approximately 75 dwts., the thumbpiece set with a cabochon sapphire, signed Tiffany & Co.; the second purse decorated with engraved detailing of foliate design, the thumbpiece set with 2 cabochon sapphires, gross weight approximately 58 dwts.
Condition
Pendant shaped purse: Approximate dimensions of 6¼ x 6 inches. Diamonds with nice color and clarity. Sapphires well saturated and lively. Gold mesh on handle slightly unraveled and kinked in one area and slightly oxidized.
Rectangular purse: Approximate dimensions of 4 x 3¾ inches. In good condition other than discoloration and oxidation to the gold, mostly on the frame.
