The oval ruby weighing 6.11 carats, flanked by pear-shaped and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately .95 carat, size 6, unsigned.  With box signed Tiffany & Co.

Condition

The mounting in good condition with moderate nicking and wear to the shank. The ruby is a lively, richly saturated medium-deep purplish pinkish red. Lightly included with subtle feathers visible to the naked eye. Small crystal near the periphery of the table seen with a 10x loupe. Moderate abrading to the facet junctions, would benefit from a polish. Set with 2 pear-shaped and 4 marquise-shaped diamonds approximately F to G color, VVS to VS clarity. Although unsigned, the original owner purchased most of her important jewels from Tiffany & Co. Lot 187, a fancy vivid yellow diamond ring mounted by Tiffany &Co, is from the sale collection. The original owner advised her family (the current consignor) that the ruby ring was acquired directly fromTiffany & Co. and was the most important piece in her collection.
