The brooch set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 3.25 carats, framed by old mine diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, the ring set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing approximately 3.50 carats, framed by old mine diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, size 6¼.
Condition
The brooch is centered by a medium blue sapphire of slightly watery saturation and color zoning visible with magnification. Surrounded by 14 diamonds approximately I-J color and SI-I clarity. The ring is very slightly more deep blue than the brooch and exhibits color zoning when viewed with magnification as well. Also surrounded by 14 diamonds approximately I-J color and SI-I clarity. Very similar styling and sizing, could have been a pair of earrings at one time, or could be again. In good condition.
