The tapered articulated band set in the center with a round sapphire measuring approximately 12.4 by 12.2 by 7.67 mm., framed and flanked by old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 18.50 carats, length 7 inches, numbered 42537.

Condition

Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 43721 stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, no gemological evidence of heat. The sapphire is estimated to weigh approximately 9.28 carats (by calculation). Sapphire of rich violetish blue, lightly included with silk banding and a small reflecting fingerprint in one corner, light surface scratches and abrasions. 165 old European-cut diamonds approximately G to I color, VS and SI clarity (a few I). Well made and in good condition.
