The tonneau-shaped case with Roman numerals, framed by a gold case applied with white enamel, the crown set with a cabochon sapphire, completed by a black grosgrain strap and a gold deployant buckle, manual movement, internal circumference 6 inches, dial signed Cartier, caseback numbered 20265 and 11259, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co. Inc.
Condition
Manual movement, currently running. Inside case and movement bridge signed France, case numbered 11259, movement numbered 20265, size 7L, 19 jewels, 8 adjustments, high grade round smallest movement. Dial signed Cartier and France (faded). Enamel in good condition, some discoloration to the gold at the surface. The grosgrain ribbon strap is in good condition. French assay marks on caseback and buckle. Also a partial maker's mark on buckle. See Important Notice Regarding Condition of Watches on page 256 of the printed catalogue. Interior circumference approximately 5 1/2 inches.
