The silver gilt St. Christopher's plaque framed by chalcedony, coral and black enamel, signed Cartier, Made in France, numbered 2496 and 5621, maker's marks, French assay marks, with fitted and signed box; the gold seal composed of a mutton-fat jadeite handle, a cabochon sapphire, and applied with blue enamel, unsigned, with fitted box signed Cartier.
Condition
Approximate dimensions: seal (2½ inches long), plaque (2½ x 1½ x ½ inches). Silver gilt and gold with areas of oxidation and discoloration. Hardstones and enamel intact. In good condition.
