The stylized rose composed of carved ivory petals, a carved coral leaf, and a stem applied with black enamel, accented by round and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 4.50 carats, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 07777, maker's mark, French assay marks.

Condition

Set with 54 round and single-cut diamonds approximately G-H color and VS-SI clarity. The ivory and coral carvings are intact, a very small spot of chipping to the enamel on the stem, otherwise in good condition. Signed Cartier Paris on reverse of brooch, on right frame of pin mechanism. Numbered at top of pin stem bridge. Please note that potential bidders who intend to export this lot out of the country are advised that the CITES certificate required will take 4 to 6 months to obtain before the brooch can be exported.
