The double-strand necklace composed of 199 natural and cultured pearls measuring approximately 11.30 by 8.45 mm. to 4.30 by 4.07 mm., length 24 inches; the single-strand necklace composed of 240 natural pearls measuring approximately 6.45 by 6.34 mm. to 3.92 mm., spaced by seed pearls, length 30½ inches.
Condition
DOUBLE STRAND: Accompanied by GIA report no. 2125865497 stating that the necklace contains predominantly natural pearls (contains some cultured pearls), predominantly saltwater. Pearls ranging in color from creamy white to creamy golden, wtih waxy to good luster. Off-round with wrinkling of skins, ringing and light noduling. Fitted with a large irregularly shaped pearl plunger style clasp.
SINGLE STRAND: GIA report no. 1122865500 stating that the necklace contains predominantly natural pearls, predominantly saltwater (contains some freshwater). Pearl are more evenly matched in color, ranging from creamy rose to creamy golden. Luster is waxy to very good, with many of the pearls being off-round, ringed and with wrinkled skins. Fitted with a cylindrical white gold clasp.
Both necklaces would benefit from a restringing.
