The modified oval greenish-blue tourmaline weighing approximately 10.35 carats, flanked by modified shield-shaped mandarin garnets weighing approximately 6.80 carats, size 6, signed Samuel Getz.

The color combination is bright and cheery. The tourmaline is very slightly less blue than pictured in the printed catalogue and is eye clean. The spessartite garnets are vibrant and slightly included. One of the spessartites shows some abrasions and light chipping to the facet junctions and underneath the stone. In good condition overall.
