The cushion-shaped natural color-change fancy purplish red sapphire weighing 28.42 carats, flanked by baguette diamonds, size 6¼, with French assay mark and partial maker's mark.
Condition
Accompanied by GRS report no. GRS2011-021201 stating that the sapphire is natural, pinkish-purple color (GRS-type 'Burgundy'), no indications of thermal treatment; and AGL report no. ID 13832 stating that the sapphire is natural color change fancy purplish red, no gemological evidence of heat enhancement present, clarity enhancement: none, estimated color change: faint to moderate, estimated quality of color change: good. The flanking diamonds weigh approximately .80 carat and are F-G color and VS clarity. In good condition. Mounting has French assay mark and indistinct workshop mark on outside of band.
