Condition
Original canvas.
There is an area of craquelure and lifting paint in the lower right corner. There are additional isolated areas of craquelure including to the gold pigment upper left and there is some paint separation to the bright orange pigment in the centre.
Ultraviolet light reveals a vertical line of fluorescence to the golden pigment upper right beginning along the upper edge, which appears to be an uneven varnish. There are a few flecks of retouching to the bright orange pigment lower center and minor further flecks in the upper right corner.
