The work is executed on a light grey laid Ingres paper. The sheet is sound and not laid down, but is adhered to the backing with adhesive tape in the upper corners. The edges are uneven and the upper edge is deckled. There are artist's pinholes in the corners. There is a fine horizontal crease in the sky upper right. There are a few specks of staining in the upper right quadrant but generally the work is in excellent original condition, with strong bright colours throughout. Held in a metallic painted wood frame with a cream mountunder glass. Please telephone the department on 020 7293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
