Condition
The board is sound and slightly bowed.
There are old nail holes along the left and right edges. There is some old frame abrasion along the right edge. There is a small surface abrasion near the centre of the upper edge and two near the centre of the right edge. There are a few media marks in the upper left quadrant. The varnish has slightly discoloured but generally the work is in good original condition with strong areas of impasto.
Ultraviolet light reveals no apparent signs of retouching.
Held in a painted wood frame.
