Condition
Dirt has gathered in some of the crevices otherwise the work appears in good overall condition.
Held on a simple wooden plinth.
The sculpture previously had two small losses to the supports, and received treatment by Plowden & Smith, 190 St Ann's Hill London, SW18 2RT, who have prepared the following report:
The missing arm sections were initially made up and shaped in wax. From these wax sections a mould was produced and used to cast the pieces in Bronze. These Bronze sections were attached to the body of the sculpture. They were then re-patinated to match the rest of the piece and the join was coloured, toned and tidied to lose as far as possible.
