Condition
The catalogue illustration is faithful in colour and tone to the painting. The support consist of two vertical panels which are stable and flat, and the panel join is barely visible on the recto. The paint surface appears in good condition to the naked eye, with the gold in the upper section well preserved. The gold of the haloes has, by contrast, been abraded. The paint surface is a little dirty. Inspection under UV light reveals very little retouching and confirms the good condition. A diagonal scratch lower right was retouched some time ago. Offered in a modern wooden frame in good condition.
