Condition

The canvases have been relined but this has not overly flattened the paint surfaces of the works which are in good condition, with the colours and brushwork of the paintings well-preserved. No major damages to the paintings are apparent. Inspection under UV light reveals minor scattered spot retouchings, which mainly attend to the craquelure running throughout both paintings, and strengthenings to the grapes and hill top of the signed painting. Offered in gilt wood and plaster frames in fairly good condition.
