platinum-palladium print, flush-mounted to aluminum, signed, dated, annotated, and editioned '17/64' in pencil and stamped on the reverse, 1972, printed in 1975 (MoMA, pl. 113; Passage, p. 208; Still Life, unpaginated; Master Images, pl. 45)

Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. There are very small rust-colored deposits at the top margin edge where the paper meets the aluminum mount. These do not affect the image. The reverse is annotated in pencil with the following: 'C 521' (circled); 'Arches Paper on Aluminum / Multiple Coating and Printing/ 1. Platinum/ 2. Platinum-Palladium / Print Made Fall 1975'; 'Neg. No. 17'; and 'No more than 64 original prints of this image will ever be made.' The copyright stamp is dated '1974' in pencil. There is a 1/2-inch abrasion around the edge of the entire mount on the reverse.
