number 'RA-8159-A' in the negative, the Lunn Gallery stamp, with numbers 'III' and '242' in pencil, on the reverse, matted, signed and dated in pencil on the mat, 1936, probably printed in the 1950s or early 1960s (F. S. A. 242)
Provenance
Acquired from Edwynn Houk Gallery, Chicago, circa 1985
Condition
This print, on double-weight semi-glossy paper, is in generally excellent condition. There is slight edge wear along the margin edges, and the corners are bumped, with small losses of emulsion. In raking light, a small, soft crease that does not break the emulsion is visible in the upper right corner of the image.
The following are written in pencil on the reverse: '70.1379,' '.095,' and '#1017.' When examined under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce slightly.
