This portfolio is in generally excellent condition. It was published in an edition of 50 numbered copies, and 10 Artist Proofs, numbered I to X. The quotation by Philip James Bailey reads 'Art is Man's Nature; Nature is God's Art.' The plates are all in generally excellent condition. The colors remain rich and saturated, with no apparent fading.
