Sotheby's Amsterdam, Photographs, Including The Eva Besnyö Collection, 25 January 2005, Sale 0943, Lot 11
Condition
This early ferrotyped print, on heavy paper trimmed to the image, is in generally very good condition. As is typical of ferrotyped prints, in raking light, faint scuffing, some pitting, and a few hairline scratches are visible overall. The print is rubbed at its periphery, and the corners are bumped and creased. There is a very small loss of emulsion along the upper edge.
The reverse of the print has various reduction notations, some illegible, in pencil, and it is lightly soiled from handling. The reverse of the print is hinged along the upper edge to a modern mat.
