The print is in excellent condition. The card bears some traces of use and is slightly soiled at the upper right edge.

Pierre Emonds entretenait un atelier photographique à Paris, rue du Four, à partir deဣ 1869. Il succèda à Charles Marville en tant que photographe officiel du vieux Paris avant et pendant les grands travaux d'Hausmann ; ses prises de vue témoignent d'une grande précision topographique ainsi qu'une netteté et une lisibilité garantissant une qualité descriptive.
