plain rectangular, engraved Zum 80. Geburtstag, 21 May 1943 and with nine signatures, wood liner, gilt inside cover, together with 11 Austrian and Italian shell-shaped salt cellars, engraved cypher of Marie-Louise of Bourbon-Parma (1870-1899) and numbered, 2 pieces, Luigi Vernazzi, Parma, circa 1820, 9 pieces, Dominikus Storr, Vienna, 1820 & 1828 ; 2 small English candlesticks, Henri Charles Deware, Birmingham, 1912, loaded, a green glass bath salt bottle with stopper and silver cover, maker's mark illegible, Chester, 1899 and a glass scent bottle with silver and tortoiseshell cover, maker's mark illegible, Birmingham, 1912

Catalogue Note
The silver cigar box was a gift to Archduke Eugen of Austria, Hoch-und Deutschmeister (21.5.1863 -30.12.1954), brother of Archduke Friedrich. The signatures are those of his nephews: Christa, (Archduchess Christine, Princess of Salm-Salm, 1879-1962), Henriette (Archduchess, Princess of Hohenlohe, 1883-1956), Archduchess Gabriella (1887-1954), Archduke Albrecht (1897-1955) and his second wife Kata (Katalin Bocskay von Felsö-Banya), Archduchess Alice (1893-1962) and her husband Fritz (Friedrich Freiherr Waldbott von Bassenheim), Isi (Archduchess Isabella, 1888-1973) the widowed husband of the daughter Maria Anna Ely (Elias Bourbon-Parma, 1880-1959).
