- silver ; silver-plate
- largest 52cm, 20 1/2 in wide
comprising: an Austrian silver salver, Eduard Schiffer, Vienna, 1860, circular, shaped reeded rim, on three scroll feet (probably later), engraved with a cypher under a princely coronet (partly legible) , a large German example, J.C Osthues, Munster, circa 1870, with shaped moulded rim; an Austrian circular example, J. C Klinkosch, Vienna, circa 1900, engraved with the arms of Elias Duke of Parma (1880-1959) and his consort Archduchess Maria Anna of Austria (1882-1940) ; a smaller example, J.C. Klinkosch, Vienna, circa 1900; an oval example, apparently unmarked, probably German circa 1900 ; and three circular silver-plated trays in sizes, two of which J.C. Klinkosch, Vienna, circa 1900, engraved with gilt scrolling flowers and laurel wreaths
Condition
shaped oval tray: small splits at rims
silver salver on feet: depression at point of two feet, most probably for they have been later added.
silver plate tray: tarnished and yellow tone due to the metal underneath, otherwise good condition.
