- an English ivory and tortoiseshell fan, the guards and sticks pierced, carved and gilded, the leaf printed with a circular vignette of Venus and Adonis, after Angelica Kauffman, the reserve painted with Pompeian style grotesques, verso with leafy garlands, enamelled pivot, circa 1780, 25,5cm long
- a blond horn fan, the leaf printed and coloured with a mother and her children,19th century, 27cm long
- a dark stained wood fan, the leaf printed with six vignettes of historical couples, 19th century, 27cm long
- a wood fan with mother-of-pearl and gilt metal inlaid, the leaf printed with five vignettes of various subjects, circa 1870, 27cm long
- another fan with stamped gilt metal guards, painted bone sticks and hand coloured lithograph, printed leaf of an Alpine cottage, printed signature Alph. Leroy, circa 1850, 21.5cm long

Condition
Fan 1: some splitting and wear to leaf in centre, detaching from guards, verso crudely stuck with two bands of tape.
Fan 2: slight time staining and puckering along rib lines
Fan 3: leaf split in one place, time staining and wears
Fan 4: slight wear and time staining
Fan 5: new splittings and old restorations, destressed
