- 27cm, 10 5/8 in long
the sticks and guards finely pierced and carved with arabesques and chinoiseries, further painted with flowers, birds and insects, the vellum leaf with classical figures, verso with chinoiseries, in a glazed gilt wood frame with sticker in German inscribed: property of Her Imperial and Royal Highness the Princess Elias of Parma for his wife the Archduchess Maria Anna of Austria
Condition
painted decoration on ivory stick possibly retouched, the vellum leaf lifting from guards, rubbed and with losses along folds.
