entitled Insegnare Agli Ignoranti and the companion print Dar da Mangiare Agli Affamati after Antonio Canova; with a portrait of Prince Eugene Napoleon after Jean-Baptiste Bosio; with a view of the Foro Bonaparte in Milan after Giovanni Antolini; and two etchings after Andrea Appiani, on wove paper
Condition
Paper discoloration, areas of light surface dirt, creasing, scattered foxing, nicks and tears; 'Insegnare agli Ignoranti' after Canova with a diagonal repaired tear at lower left corner of sheet (measuring approximately 12.5cm) and with plugged holes mainly in the left margin; 'Dar da Mangiare agli Affamati' with plugged holes, scattered foxing; the portrait of Napoleon with small holes in the top margin and upper section of the image; the two Appiani ethings with paper discoloration, water-staining, surface dirt, one with a torn area in the centre of the image, the other with scattered foxing; other minor defects; the Foro Bonaparte with surface dirt, creasing in margins, a flattened vertical centre fold, each framed (unexamined out of frames).
