the fall-front opening to reveal a fitted interior with a leather-lined writing slide, three drawers and pigeon holes; escutcheons replaced

Condition
Generally good. Some localised veneer patches to the shaped top. Some redecoration and chips to the reeded corner pilasters. The painted decoration is also slightly worn on these architectural uprights. Repairs to lock site of fall-front. The rounded escutcheons are later replacements on this fall and drawers. There are old horizontal age cracks on the fall. The feet are scruffed and have some retouching to their decoration.
