(one applied with profile medallions after the Antique, the other with the profile of Mercury, together with a pair of Italian white glazed and gilded ceramic ashtrays by Fornasetti, circa 1970, together with an Italian black glazed and gilded ceramic foot by Fornasetti, circa 1970, together with a French boat shaped en grisaille dish, Paris, circa 1820, the reverse with the label le stone coquerel et le gros Paris no 48, together with an Italian porcelain oval box a coat of arms, circa 1820 (last two not illustrated)
Condition
The ashtray with raised medallions would benefit from a clean but is generally good. The example with the mask of mercury is similarly tired and would also benefit from a clean. The pen holder or vase in the form a foot has rubbing to gilding but is generally good. The transfer printed navette shaped dish has rim chips, has some old age cracks and there is minor rubbing to transfer printed decoration. The lidded pot has losses to painted decoration notably to each armorial. There are numerous surface marks to this.
