Literature

Condition

Elegant. This piece may well have surmounted a console table, although not definitively as it works so well as a wall mirror. Generally in good order. There is some distress to the old mirror plates with losses to silvering. One gilt-bronze captial has come off and has been re-attached. There is a chip to the veneer at the bottom on the right. There are some old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
