Eberlein, as a cross-leg seated Chinese couple, she feeding a parrot perched on her left hand, he offering an apple to a monkey seated on his right knee, each wearing a costume with iron-red flowers and turquoise collar, sash and cuffs, and a black hat, on blue cushions with gilt tassels, above a shaped, stepped base (minute chips)
