Overall good even pile of 2-3mm. Original side cords and end finishes. Sections of cord missing especially along right side. Knotted fringe top end only. Original guard end lower end. Minor spots of old fold wear. No evidence of cut warps across centre, and the warps are continuous. The line of fold wear and some curved wefts, which looks like a dart at first glance (half way down left side, lower edge of horizontal photograph) but there is no cutting evident. Scattered minor moth damage in places, with pile down to foundation in small areas.
