Linoleum cut printed in colors, together with four progressive proofs, 1951, each signed in pencil and titled, the final proof numbered 24/60, on Japan papers, framed (5 prints)
Condition
The prints are in good condition. Individual imperfections are as follows:
Gethsemane (from 4 blocks) with remains of adhesive at margin corners, with pin holes in the image corners
Brown (1st block) with pale mat stain and a pinhole in each upper margin corner
Viridian (2nd block) with faint traces of the brown off-printed, a diagonal crease through the image at upper left
Grey (3rd block) with mat stain, along the left margin the tissue is folded over at lower corner, torn and folded at center, and with a diagonal crease in the lower quadrant of the margin
Purple (4th block) with mat stain, the margins with an occasional small fox mark, creases in the lower, and two pinholes upper margin corners

The 4 single-color proofs on tissue-thin Japan papers, each additionally inscribed with the block order number, viridian double signed, titled and inscrib💯ed. The final proof double signed and 🍬numbered.
In 1992 the Christian Science Church received a bequest fro🌳m Sybil Andrews of over 100 of her works. She was a member of the church. These works are part of that bequest.
