the sides overlaid with three roundels cast with profile busts of Emperor Nicholas I, his wife Empress Alexandra Feodorovna, and their son the future Emperor Alexander II with his bride Maria Alexandrovna, commemorating their 1841 marriage, each below an Imperial crown within pierced rocaille scrolls, shaped square base, scroll handle, unrecorded maker's mark NT (Cyrillic), 84 standard
Condition
Generally good condition, as expected. The side mount comes loose if pulled, with attendant scratches. Some lifting/bending of mount.
