- Height: 44.5cm, 17 1/2 in.
of baluster form, the body finely cast with scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers, flanked by handles formed as twisted vines, centred to one side with presentation inscription in Russian: 'Imperial / Racing Trophy / Ledebyan / 17th September 1843' , the other with an Imperial eagle, the domed cover surmounted with a realistically cast model of a horse, 84 standard
Condition
Excellent condition and impressive. Minor surface nicks and scratches, less than expected given the age of the piece. Good weight. Needs a good soak/clean: there is polish residue visible.
