on the left the promartyr St Stephen dressed as a deacon and holding a censer, on the right the martyr St Juliana holding a palm and a crucifix, in the upper centre the New Testament Trinity appearing in a segment of heaven, in the distant background a complex scene depicting the martyrdom of St Stephen finely rendered in shades of red and blue and highlighted in gold, written below a prayer to St Stephen
