Condition
Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 8 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout, and with one small surface fleck loss to a corner on one glass tile in the floral register (1/4 inch). The patinated bronze base displays an exceptionally rich and vibrant green and russet brown patina, selectively gilt along the scrolled devices around the perimeter bottom base and the upper decorative collar below the sockets. The shade leading has a soft gilt metallic patina, which corresponds nicely to these gilt details on the base. The patinated bronze surfaces on the base with a few surface scratches and abrasions, light surface wear and rubbing to the patina, and with some occasional scattered small patina losses consistent with age and gentle use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear to be original and undisturbed, and with a period final. A fine example of the model, displaying a harmonious shade and base pairing, and a deeply saturated glass selection distinguished by the vigorously mottled cobalt blue background glass and vibrant jewel-tone floral register.
