Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 27 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The exterior of the shade with three old small added lead lines to stabilize and conceal cracks in the glass. (The patina on these lead lines is slightly lighter, but is only apparent through close examination under strong light. If desired, the patina could easily be made more consistent to blend in with the shade.) The leading on the shade displays a deep green and russet brown patina. The gilt bronze surfaces of the base and finial with minor surface wear and rubbing to the patina, surface soiling and minor areas of discoloration consistent with age and gentle use. The gilt patina and finish on the base and finial are consistent, reinforcing that the two originated together. The sockets and paddle switches all appear original and undisturbed. A beautiful example of the model with a particularly vibrant glass selection distinguished by the bold red floral field and deep cobalt blue background glass. The yellow geometric bands in the shade are harmoniously complemented by the gilt base and finial.
