The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting has been quite recently restored. The canvas has an older glue lining and while the cracking is slightly raised in the sky, no further lining necessarily encouraged. The paint layer is most likely clean. The varnish is slightly uneven and there appear to be no retouches. In order to even out the varnish the painting should be very lightly cleaned and re-varnished. Other than this, the painting is in perfect state.
