Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, and with slightly less red hues.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are two small spots of paper to the oil surface towards the centre of the bottom edge. There is a small paint loss to the centre of the composition. Close inspection reveals three short and stable hairline cracks toward the centre of the right edge, and a small paint loss to the lower centre of the right edge, and a very small and faint indentation to the centre of the left edge. No restoration is visible under ultra-violet light.
