Condition

Overall the work is in very good condition. Some of the deepest crevices of the work show some accumulation of soiling. All elements appear stable and firmly attached to the base. There is some unevenness to the patina that appears inherent to the work, eg. the varied color of the violin bodies and a few areas on the violin neck elements. There are a few minor accretions on the surface of the work.
