Condition

Overall the work is in good condition. The canvas is unlined. The collage elements are stable and intact; there is some soiling visible in areas of dried adhesive. The collage elements (including the photographic elements) show uneven trimming and some soft creases, but this is inherent to the artist's working method and choice of materials. There is a web of stable craquelure visible in the white painted area in the upper left and upper right quadrants of the canvas. A few associated pindot losses are visible in these areas as well. The surface of the work is naturally uneven and reflects layers of worked elements. The fabric elements show some soiling. Framed.
